how can you just leave me standing alone in a world so cold?
__________&_________ Even on her deathbed, Professor Trelawney had a bottle of sherry stashed in her nightstand. Despite her feigned attempts of smiling, Minerva McGonagall knew that Trelawney's days were coming to an end. What Minerva did not expect, however, was a last request. A very solemn request it was:
"Write down everything I tell you, word for word Minerva. They need to know ... to be ... happy. Our world depends on them now... Tell them, they deserve to know."
Heeding to the wish of an old friend, Minerva did write down everything mentioned to her. Startingly enough, all the names Trelawney mentioned were the sons and daughters of the children who survived the Battle of Hogwarts in 1997. She sent out all the appropriate letters to honor her trusted friend's last wish. One name, one line, and a formal signature on the bottom did the trick. No one knew what to think of the enveloped proverbs being slid through their mail slot. Of course, that was before people started to notice that Trelawney was getting them right.
Living in a chaotic post-war, the children of the survivors do not know which path to take or which way to go. Feeling the weight of the wizarding world on their shoulders, a little foresight may just be what they need to take on the new world. __________&_________ why do we scream at each other? this is what it sounds like when doves cry
